I had a few more thoughts.
Last night, after I finished my post, I actually had a few other ideas. Of course, I can't remember them now....I'll do my best:
I took Holly and Ryan for TWO walks around our park (yes, I call this mobile home community a park, a lot simpler for the kids). I must admit, with all the folks out doing yardwork, I haven't seen that much polyester since, well......ever, I guess.
I have been listening to Belle and Sebastian lately. I was fine with that until I read this description of them: "Orchestrated pop marked by literary preciousness has seen this band take the place of the Smiths on high school notebooks." I don't want to be anti-high school music, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to still listen to it now.
Well, I just finished a full Virus Scan. 193,088 files, it took a little over an hour. But I have special circumstances. My 160 Gig master hard drive is 60-some percent full. And my 200 Gig slave drive (partitioned into 4 separate drives) is probably about 70 percent full. I gotta fire up that DVD burner.
Every 2 days I water the plants in our kitchen. Plants is a broad term, we can only keep Ivy plants alive. We just got some cuttings of some spider plants, they almost died when they were in direct sunlight for 10 hours, but I trimmed them back and have been watering them frequently. They seem to be getting better. But for some reason, our kitchen is like a desert. If I wait a whole 2 days, then the dirt is SO dry. It is like that room is the desert. Our bedroom is like a rainforest. You see, our dryer isn't working, so we have been hanging laundry in our bedroom (and out on the clothes line, relax). Who needs a humidifier. We will get the dryer fixed, but you know, we are probably saving a ton on electricity costs. We do quite a bit of laundry, as you might expect. But since Michelle is rather strict on doing a load of laundry every day, we manage quite nicely. Hang a load up every night.
Well, I am sure I will think of something else as soon as I press "Publish Post", but, here goes.
