Orchestrated Chaos

Pushing my own buttons.

Wednesday, June 29, 2005

I have been thinking lately. I have had the discomfort to think of, and dissect the anatomy of a headache. Not something that I'm happy with, however, I have been able to turn my attention inward and listen to the types of "ache" and the severity. I guess that it could be akin to a chef having a more discerning palate, or a music lover being able to listen and hear more out of a concert or symphony.

As you can imagine, being a headache connoisseur isn't exactly something that I wished for as a child.

Now, I have noticed something that I find peculiar. Used to be less pronounced a few years ago, but lately around headache time, I have trouble verbalizing longer sentences, or thinking of synonyms for words. Just a thought, but not something that makes me sleep easier.

For years I have been annoyed at my seeming inability to verbally convey what I perceive to be rather complex thoughts. When words tumble from my mouth I am nearly always disappointed by how off the mark they usually are. Oh well.
