The Bourne Identity

While researching some links for this blog, I ran into an interesting fact. In 1988 ABC produced and aired a TV miniseries adaptation of the Bourne Identity starring Richard Chamberlain and Jaclyn Smith. 4 hours of Jason Bourne fun, from the late 80's!

General Thought:

Happy Easter to all!!!!

School Visit

A couple weeks ago, Ryan's nursery school had visitors from the village plows and backhoes. Holly and Ryan got to sit in and learn all about those big machines!

Picture Day tomorrow

Tomorrow is picture day for Holly, so she was trying on her outfit this evening, making sure everything fit, and looked smashing. I managed to convince her to hop into the shower to be perky and clean for her photo, and as I hung up her outfit on Ryan's towel bar I had a sense of foreboding. I just assumed it was more indigestion. Not ten minutes after Holly finishes the shower and exits the bathroom then Ryan goes in and washes his hands. Then wipes his hands and his Oreo soaked mouth all over her dress. He realized what he did at exactly the same time as I walked past the bathroom door, he froze like a deer in headlights.

Then he helped me start a load laundry.

How does this thing work?

I know that is has been a really long time since I blogged. I just went back and read some of the old comments and stuff. Wow, things are different now.

The kids are huge! Don't worry, I'll get a few pictures of them up soon.

I guess there have been lots of things that have happened in the year and a half since I blogged, I'll try to go over and cover some of the highlights in the coming posts.

I'm still employed, decent job, got a couple of promotions and raises. It is nice that I'm not out on the production floor anymore, when I was out there I was walking 8 miles a day. Literally 8 miles. I bought 2 pedometers to measure, because I knew it was so much. But now I'm riding a leather chair in front of a desk. I occasionally get out and make a delivery, I have driven over 2500 miles in company trucks.

We still read like crazy in this house. Good book recommendations will come. The final Harry Potter was great, especially the last few pages. Satisfying.

And I have been listening to lots of music. What else can keep me from nodding off while programming? Ivy, Sunny Day Real Estate, Radiohead, Wicked Tinkers, James Blunt, Celtic Woman, Snow Patrol, Norah Jones and more. It is nice to have 450 tracks on your MP3 player and have it on random play.

I'll get more up later!
